I wrote this letter to my so-called representative after she voted for Cap & Trade.
Dear Congresswoman Giffords
When you voted yes on Cap & Trade you voted to destroy our quality of life and our standard of living. Regardless of what you say, that is what you did.
I can assure you that I will not only be voting against you, I will be contributing to your opponent and I will be relentlessly campaigning against you. Now you're reaching into my home, my car, and your affecting my family…

How's this for apocalyptic literature. This was written by a pastor's
Wife in biblical prose as a commentary of current events. It is Brilliant.
And it came to pass in the Age of Insanity that the people of
The land called America , having lost their morals, their initiative,
And their will to defend their liberties, chose as their Supreme
Leader that person known as "The One".
He emerged from the vapors with a message that had no meaning; but
He hypnotized the people telling them, "I am sent…

You'll get a kick out of this! Just as you predicted.
Sad!
I recently attended a breakfast meeting where the speaker/guest was David E. Cole, Chairman of the Center for Automotive Resear ch (CAR). You have likely heard Cole quoted, or referred to in the auto industry news lately.
Mr. Cole, who is an engineer by training, told many stories of the difficulty of working with the folks that the Obama administration has sent to save the auto industry. There have been many meetings where a 30+ year…

This open letter to congress was written by an Arizona Mexican American woman:
I'm a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative…

Punishment for being successful and reward for failing. The product of your labor is your private property and the government has no authority to take your property and give it to those who don't produce. Taxes were meant to pay for protective services and infrastructure maintenance. The government damn sure is not securing the border, gang violence is running rampant, and the infrastructure is falling apart, however, the couch potatoes are getting fat off of your hard labor.
Progressive Taxati…

we could leave the doors open at night, the car keys in the car, the windows up for the fresh air to blow through? I think we are the only people in a 4 block radius that have not painted our windows closed! Of course, we have a huge dog who is not friendly who is looking out the window, so who is coming in? I used to be gone all day with my horse up the mountain, no one worried about me, my curfew was dark. I was only 8-10 but I was not afraid, I had my horse, who had proved more than once to b…

I received this email yesterday from Congressman John Sullivan from the Oklahoma 1st Congressional District. I thought it would be pertinent to this group.
Dear Dr. Connors-Maloney,
Knowing of your interest in veteran's issues, I would like to inform you that the House of Representatives passed with my support H.R. 1513, the Veterans' Compensation Cost-of-Living Adjustment Act of 2009. This legislation amends the cost-of-living adjustment to the rates of disability compensation for veterans…

SIGN IN A
WHITING, INDIANA
STORE FRONT WINDOW
'WE WOULD RATHER
DO BUSINESS WITH
1,000 AL QAEDA TERRORISTS
THAN WITH ONE SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER!'
This sign was prominently displayed in the window of a business in Whiting, Indiana . You are probably outraged at the thought of such an inflammatory statement. However, we are a society which holds Freedom of Speech as perhaps our greatest liberty.
And after all, it is just a sign.
You may ask what kind of business would dare post such a sign.
An…

Do you have someone to lean on who truly understands you?
I was reading a post on America Coast 2 Coast- great site- and it hit me, this person does not have a clue what life is like when you leave the military, or when you are the family of the military and they are deployed, or even worse, they do not care what the cost is to the family or service member! I told my Retired, Disabled, barely computer literate, darling husband, we need a place to circle the wagons for the military, retired, act…

On Thursday May 27,1999, Darrell Scott , the father of Rachel Scott, a victim of the Columbine High School shootings in Littleton , Colorado , was invited to address the House Judiciary Committee's subcommittee.. What he said to our national leaders during this special session of Congress was painfully truthful.
They were not prepared for what he was to say, nor was it received well. It needs to be heard by every parent, every teacher, every politician, every sociologist, every psychologist, an…
